01 Web · Build

WordPress sites that are fast, secure and easy to run.

Business websites, content-heavy sites and WooCommerce stores — built lean, so they stay fast and don’t fall apart after the next plugin update.

(Why it matters)

Make it work — fast, everywhere.

WordPress runs a huge share of the web because it’s flexible. That flexibility is also why so many WordPress sites end up slow, bloated and fragile — thirty plugins, a heavy page builder and nobody sure what’s safe to update.

I build WordPress sites with a small, deliberate stack: a clean theme, only the plugins that are needed, content types that match how you actually publish, and SEO built in from the start.

(Who it’s for)

Is this you?

  1. 01Businesses that need a professional site they can update themselves
  2. 02Brands that publish regularly — blogs, resources, case studies
  3. 03Stores that want WooCommerce’s flexibility and ownership
  4. 04Existing WordPress sites that have become slow or hard to manage

(What you get)

Typical deliverables.

Every project is scoped individually — this is what’s usually included.

  • Sitemap, page structure and content plan
  • Custom design implemented in a lightweight theme or block setup
  • WooCommerce setup: products, payments, shipping and emails
  • Editor-friendly page templates and reusable blocks
  • Performance: caching, image optimisation, minimal plugins
  • Security hardening, backups and update plan
  • SEO foundations and Search Console / Analytics setup
  • Training so your team can publish with confidence

(How I approach it)

The approach.

  1. 01

    Content first

Decide what the site must say and what people need to do on it, then design the page types around that — not the other way round.

  2. 02

    A small, stable stack

Choose the theme and plugins deliberately. Fewer moving parts means faster pages, fewer conflicts and cheaper maintenance.

  3. 03

    Design and build

Custom design built so it looks right on every screen size and stays consistent when your team adds new pages.

  4. 04

    Harden and optimise

Security, backups, caching and image handling configured before launch, not after the first problem.

  5. 05

    Launch and hand over

Redirects, search setup and a walkthrough, so the site is indexed properly and you know how to run it.

(FAQ)

WordPress questions.

Do you use page builders like Elementor?

Only when it genuinely suits the project. For most sites, native blocks or a lightweight custom theme are faster and easier to maintain.

Can you fix or speed up my existing WordPress site?

Yes. Start with an audit of speed, plugins, security and SEO; you get a prioritised list and can decide what to fix.

WooCommerce or Shopify — which should I choose?

It depends on your products, your team and how much control you want. Shopify is simpler to run; WooCommerce gives more ownership and flexibility. I’ll recommend one honestly after understanding your business.
