8 stages
How a project moves.
A clear sequence with fixed checkpoints. You always know what’s happening, what’s next and what I need from you.
-
Discover
Understand the business before touching the brief.
A focused conversation about your goals, customers, competitors and what has or hasn’t worked so far. I look at your current site, content, ads and analytics where they exist.
-
Strategy
Decide what to do — and what not to.
A written plan: what we’re building or running, for whom, on which platform and how success will be measured. Scope, timeline and budget are fixed before work starts.
-
Design
Structure first, then style.
Wireframes fix the order of information and the calls to action. Then the visual design: type, colour, imagery and components — mobile first.
-
Build
Fast, accessible, easy to edit.
Development on the chosen platform with performance, accessibility and SEO built in rather than added afterwards. You get a staging link to review as it comes together.
-
Create
Content that fits the system.
Photography, video, graphics and copy produced for the places they’ll actually be used — website, store, social and ads.
-
Launch
Nothing earned gets lost.
Final QA across devices, redirects from old URLs, search setup and analytics verification. Then launch — and a walkthrough so your team knows how everything works.
-
Optimise
Read the data, fix the friction.
After launch, real behaviour replaces assumptions. I review analytics, search data and campaign results and improve what isn’t pulling its weight.
-
Grow
Compound what works.
Ongoing SEO, content and paid campaigns built on the foundations — scaled carefully, measured honestly and reported clearly.
(Ground rules)
What you can count on.
- 01
One owner, fewer handovers
The person who plans it also designs, builds and markets it. Fewer handovers means less lost in translation.
- 02
Measure first
Tracking is set up before launch or spend, so decisions are based on data rather than opinion.
- 03
Lean by default
No unnecessary plugins, apps or scripts. Every extra piece has to earn its place.
- 04
You own everything
Accounts, code, files and ad accounts stay in your name. Nothing is held hostage.
